Alisha Woo is Co-Chair, Director of We Persist. She has 9 years of experience leading operations and marketing campaigns for organizations and companies based in the US, Europe and Asia. Most recently, she was Operations Lead for Women’s March Bay Area and Operations Manager at Meteor Development Group. Prior to that, she opened the first North American office for WordAppeal, a digital agency in Paris. She serves on the board of Tomorrow Youth Repertory, and holds an MA in Literary Studies from UW Madison and a BA in English from UC Berkeley.
Alison Mata is Co-Chair, Events at We Persist. She is also Program Manager at Women's Centers International, Co-Chair of Women's March Oakland, and Events Manager at Lawley Ranch. During her 7-year tenure in commercial property and construction management for CAC Real Estate Management and CBRE, she oversaw million-dollar construction projects. She graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a BA in International Area Studies.
Annie Adams is Co-Chair, Education at We Persist. She is also an Executive Board Member of New Leaders Council Silicon Valley and CoChair of Women's March Sacramento. With over 8 years of experience in nonprofits, schools, volunteer management, advocacy, organizing, event planning and government, she has worked for Hayward's Office of the City Manager and as a school social worker. Prior to that, she developed a rape crisis counselor training curriculum for YWCA Silicon Valley in collaboration with the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault. She has a BA in Communications from University of New Mexico and an MSW from San Jose State University.
Jessica Chaplin Browning is Co-Chair, Marketing at We Persist. She is also Lead Chair and Executive Producer of the Women’s March Sacramento. A San Francisco-based content strategist and user experience design professional, Jessica has over a decade of experience with companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. She graduated from General Assembly's User Experience Design Immersive and has a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley.
